Hi, I’m Chris Whiteside — owner of Whiteside Construction and Licensed Building Practioner ( LBP)
I’ve been in the building industry for over 17 years, with the last decade focused on architectural homes where quality, precision, and attention to detail really matter. Having spent 13 years building in Christchurch, I’ve got a solid handle on local building codes and what it takes to get a job done properly (and keep the council happy).
Whiteside Construction is a small, tight-knit team — just myself, two skilled builders, and my partner Kristen running the admin behind the scenes. We keep things simple, communicate well, and take pride in doing things right the first time.
I stay personally involved in every project. No disappearing act — just consistent, honest work from start to finish.
